Homemade Fluffy Bread Rolls

Ingredients

  • 7 grams of dry yeast
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • 375 milliliters of warm water
  • 500 grams of all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, dissolve the yeast and sugar in warm water. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt. Make a well in the center and add the yeast mixture and olive oil.
  3. Mix until a dough forms, then knead on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place until it doubles in size, about 60 minutes.
  5. Punch down the dough, shape it into rolls, and place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  6. Cover and let them rise again for about 30 minutes.
  7. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Let them cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

Store rolls in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days or freeze for longer storage.
