Chocolate Cake

Ingredients

  • 180 gr all-purpose flour (1 1/2 cup)
  • 60 gr cocoa powder without sugar (1/2 cup)
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 200 gr granulated sugar (1 cup)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 120 ml milk (1/2 cup)
  • 120 ml vegetable oil (1/2 cup)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a cake pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk the sugar, eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla together.
  4. Combine the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients, mixing until smooth.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Let it cool before serving.

Notes

Serve plain, or with powdered sugar, whipped cream, or frosting. Pairs well with vanilla ice cream or fresh berries.
