- 180 gr all-purpose flour (1 1/2 cup)
- 60 gr cocoa powder (1/2 cup)
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 200 gr sugar (1 cup)
- 2 large eggs
- 120 ml milk (1/2 cup)
- 120 ml vegetable oil (1/2 cup)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a round cake pan.
- In a large bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat together the sugar, eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let cool for 10 minutes, then remove from the pan and cool completely on a wire rack.
Notes
Serve plain or with powdered sugar. Enhance flavor with whipped cream, chocolate frosting, or fresh fruits. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
